Red, I had an issue with MI when on GPS screen, the minute the song changes to the next one it takes focus away from GPS and goes to the Music module (highly annoying!) Just wondering if it was an act of the devil or is that something planned??!!

This shouldnt happen. I fixed that in several versions ago. What module did you go into the GPS from when that happened, like instead of going into the the media and then GPS did you maybe go from the images or some other module. I made sure that this is working correctly. If iGuidance gets the "Please make sure the GPS reciever is properly connected" message will throw the menu's off every now and then temporarily for example. Let me know. Thanks.

I don't have a HU, I use an amp and the Audigy USB sound card.
USB lead goes to the Audigy box, I have "front" and "rear" coming out of that going to the amp. I have my XM Direct box speaker leads going into the "line-in" on the audigy sound card.

I guess one thing I don't understand is why the XM volume (visually) starts at 100% everytime. (Even if I exit the XM mode at 30%)

In my control panel>sound and audio devices> I have all the "mute" boxes un-checked.
Hey Red, or anyone else, still having this problem in XM, no volume control. The biggest think I can't make sense of, is that the XM mode allways starts at 100% volume. Even if I leave it at 40 and return, it's back at 100. See the above quotes of how I have it set up.

I would think that the line in would be no different from an internal soundcard, but there may be a difference. Open your volume control, then adjust the volume and see what the line in does. Worse case scenario, it might be a compatibility issue with the external soundcard.

Thanks Red, I'll do that tonight. (working now)
I'm quite sure the volume level will change. (but I'll let ya know.)

Seems like I may have 2 different issues? No volume change, and the volume starting at 100 everytime. That's the biggest part I can't understand. I installed MI on my home pc (no problems) and my work pc (no problems). The volume starts where ever I had left it when I closed the XM mode.
But neither of those have external sounds cards.

    I'll be back........................................sorry

OK, adjusting the volume in the control panel works fine. I also found that when you're in XM, then click EQ, the far right volume control (xm volume) and also, the master volume works fine.
When I get a chance, I will uninstall MI, disconnect the external sound card, re-install MI, and see if the XM volume will NOT start at 100 everytime.
    Any other, or better ideas?

Yeah thats the only thing that I can think of. MI just kind of remote controls the control panel volume control panel anyway. I will have a new version with a bunch of bug fixes and couple minor feature additions, so wait until the end of the week. Thanks

I can hold and set the button with my finger vs. using a mouse.
If you are using a lilliput, also make sure you dont have the checkbox "auto right-click" checked in the TS driver config. That makes it so after holding it down for like 2 seconds, it will right-click.

Red, can you make an option in the config to not show the XM thing (for people in Europe ...) instead there could be a radio section be shown (or something else like vehicle maintenance from Lostreception, only with permission off course).
    Thanks, Gyro.
