When you hit the download button, are you getting this prompt? If not, then you should set it up to view the start bar, then when you click on the Download button, you will see Microsoft Outlook flash on it, then click on it so it shows on top of MI and then click on the "Yes" button. Also make sure that the program is installed in the default C:\program files\mobile impact directory

    Got It!

I figured it out, What people need to know is that you have to have the email setup, reguardless if you are going to use it or not. If it was up to me, I would have the database stand alone, and not intergrated with outlook. Being able to add contacts etc...from inside MI would be sweet as hell. BUT, those that want the sync of your cell phone, pda, is a very nice addition.

But I love MI more than anything out there. I have a great idea. For those of you that would pay for Sprint/Cingular PCS internet. WinAmp has a awseome live radio thing going on. Would be nice to be able to listen to live broadcasts off the net.

    Glad you like it.
The program isnt actually integrating with Outlook, it just communicates and downloads its data. It does however need to have outlook set up for something. Regarding PDAs; Most of your palms are set up to synchronize with outlook, also the Pocket PC OS by design synchronizes with outlook, and many of the Palm and Pocket PC cell phones also sync with it. There are also many of the PCS phones that also have the ability to be set up to sync with Outlook, so its a fairly standard thing. The program actually downloads the Outlook data into a stand alone database that can be copied from your desktop pc, then in the settings there is a button that you can browse out for the file and then it automatically copies this file to the right place.
