How does MI handle its Music organization? Folders, Playlists, etc?

I have almost 40GB of music, and that is after I shaved off about 20GB today . My music is contained both in a flat folder and the iTunes way (Music\Artist\Album\songs). I would like to be able to organize it by artist and by genre. Do I need to copy my music over, and create playlists for every artist and every genre? Can I create folders inside my playlists folders, so I have one folder called genre's, and also artists, and then a folder called a-g, h-n, o-t, u-z under artists? Then put the various playlists in there folders? Hope that makes sense. Just wondering what people do to keep their music organized inside this program. Want to get all the files cleaned up before I move it over, otherwise I would have been experimenting already. Just want to know what I need to do.

    Thanks guys and gals!

Mobile Impact keeps track of the actual path of the mp3/music file. So no matter how you organize your music, you can create playlists to work however you want them to. I would set up the music in genre folders then by artist\album\songs Then create your playlists and save them to a playlist folder that is within your music folder. If you are into Album Art, this feature is really nice to use too. There is a few different ways you can organize. The best thing to do is to just play around and see which way works the best for you and the program.
