Actually I prefer ripping the dvd movies into avi files and then playing them in the
Video Module. Here is a program that works phenomenally well:

I used Mediaplayer Classic as the program to play DVD movies and it only reads the typical VOB format files. I dont think it supports anything else. It was a free program that was easily embedded into Mobile Impact. You could set up
Power DVD in the external applications module, but Im afraid its not very touch screen friendly and it wont embed into anything. You could also set up
Windows XP to open Power DVD automatically every time a DVD is inserted.
