Thread: how do you use keyboard "Play, Next..." with MI?

I would ask under the software section but I am unsure on how MI uses mediaplayer (or whatever player it uses).
I am sure a good software guy could write a serial or LPT port software to make the songs switch.

The program is set up to use keyboard commands, so if you can set up your remote to send keyboard commands, you will find the descriptions of which one send what commands in the instructions. Good Luck, let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply, I was hoping you would reply but I read that you have had some personal down time from MI and didnt want to bother you.

What "keyboard commands" are you talking about, enhanced keyboards or just letter/number combos? I've noticed that the number keypad controls most of the menu options but havent been able to get my "Media Keyboard" to work with MI (altho it could be just a driver issue or XP glitch).

I didnt mean to make it sound as if it werent possible, its just my current setup doesnt allow me to see any outcomes and I know little about the programming to make a guess. I will give it a shot when I get a chance and let you know what I came up with. I love the frontend btw - great work!
