Well, im not quite sure what else to check. (testing on home pc before taking to the car)
I have set XP locale to JP via control panel.
all other programs can display jp just fine, but... I cant figure out why is Mobile impact not showing any kana/kanji... It displays it as garbage.

I have never run into this. The controls that I used on the forms should be showing that language that windows is in. It looks like your using a 3rd party program to set it to Japanese. Its probably not going to work since the controls for the program are windows dll files.
