I have been noticing a need for that feature in my own car. Im driving along and I want to listen to a particular song, then I have to say ok, where the heck did I put it, oh yeah its in that one folder, where is it again, oh crap there goes my exit...@#$% I will see what I can do. Thanks.

Purely written in VB6. I tried to keep all the functions and the code as simple as possible. Much of the code is ugly and simplistic, but in turn it makes the program more stable and faster functioning. I dont have an SDK available for it as it would violate my agreements with some of my vendors that distribute my commercial package.

Great work, definatly feel that MI is the best front end. Just need to find a decent satnav bit of software for the uk and il be carputer complete! Search function would be good if you can intergrate it.

Damn it, I didn't realize iG 3 was going to be so much better...I'm gonna guess theres no upgrade program if I have 2.1.3 and I can just pay to update??

Ok, everyone, I have been playing with trying to add a search function and holy cow has it been messy! I can get it to work, but only for a few files and not even close to all of the files that it should be showing. It is also extremely slow in searching all mp3 files if there is a large amount. For cleaner performance, I will not be adding this feature in the near future. If I can figure out how to clean it up I will revisit the feature at a later time. I am now going on to work on the random play feature.

In working on the program, I have discovered a way to get Iguidance 3 to work with MI and embed. Change iGuidanceUMPC.exe filename -> to iGuidance.exe and it loads and embeds nicely. The only thing is that you will need to alter is the GPSLEFT, GPSTOP, GPSHEIGHT, GPSWIDTH settings in the config.ini file to get it perfect. Settings might be different from system to system.

Red I have not posted in a long time. I glad to hear you are thinking of making a new version. I am currently changing my pc again. Moving away from the epia boards. My tests on my new pc include using MI. I had figured out using the new IG 3.0 by renaming it. but alot of the buttons dont act right they get stuck in the backgound.What i mean is that when i click the gps menu button linked to MI it gets stuck in the background over IG menu. So do you recommend just using IG menu button. Your zoom buttons still work and audio/video still work and home, mute and exit. Thats not what i was writing about though. I was wondering will your new version still use split screen feature. If so is it to late to add split screen for the web module and the media \image module. I got the emulator running smoothly on split screen. the only reason I ask for the image module is because with dual screens if i dont select split screen in MI i have the blank windows desktop. With the images module we could select that then click split screen and have it act like a screen saver on the second monitor using your slide show feature. What do you think bad idea good idea.

Yes the gps menu button doesnt work right with ig3.0. Actually I was thinking of setting up a duplicate menu system for the 2nd screen in split screen mode. Setting it up to do the picture slideshow on the 2nd screen is a really good idea. I will toss it around and see what I can come up with. Thanks.

hey red to help you toss it around some I think putting a duplicate menu is bad idea. Example say you have multiple touchscreens setup and people in the back seats start hitting the menu button or worse they hit the touchscreen and set it back to split-screen and have the video they are watching take over your gps uh in front of a cop hahaha. or the main menu and hit shutdown. I feel only the main screen should be controlled by screen 1 the drivers screen or set option for those that would like it likt that. But then ou are making the coding more and slowing down MI. The current way you have it setup is great. Except I feel it would be more usable if web module and image module had split screen option. Also i dont think it is a MI bug probably nestopia bug. I run nestopia on screen 2 and when i hit anything on screen 1 it automatcially loses focus on screen 2 and actually pauses the game. If you know of a fix or a setting i can use let me know. my fix is
I have to just tap screen 2 again to get focus back and then the game un-pauses. The project-64 n64module has a setting that says "Pause emulation when windows is not acticve." I leave that unchecked. This works flawlessy when I am using screen 1 for other MI apps my daughter can still play games on screen 2 without the game pausing.
Hey you have many MI users why not a poll about the the actual features i mentioned. I mean if the majority of your users dont want it then dont waste your time. You said you can make personal MI configs for those that are insterested for a fee. So if the majority dont need it. Please sir. dont waste your time. I was just thinking of a way to keep my second monitor busy and i thought the image viewer was the easiest way to go.
(So i also take it you still think the hqct-I gives crappy reception and you will not support it because you didnt say nothing in your reply) I may have to buy one and test it out. I just am not a fan of xm and having to pay a monthly fee for radio. (But to each his own.)

Edited I fixed the nestopia problem i had. Just in case any one else didnt know like myself.
open nestopia outside of MI. choose options,preferences and check run in background. then click ok. Then open MI goto game emulators. click splitscreen and then select the game on screen 2. When it opens anything you do on screen 1 will not pause the game on screen 2.
