iGuidance menu's dont work

I just got MI installed and so far i love it! My only problem is that when i run iGuidance embeded, the black main menu doesnt work. Most of the time when i press main menu, both MI and iGuidance's menus come up. Niether menu works properly. Ive been using the UMCI (i think thats what its called) version of iGuidance and it rocks!! Everything is so much easier to see than the regular version. So I guess this post comes down to two questions... Does anybody have any suggestions for my little problem? Is there a way to use the other version of iGuidance embedded in MI? Thanks in advance!

Actually the menu's only work correctly with older versions of iGuidance. You dont need to use the Mobile Impact menus with iGuidance UMPC verson 3.x because the latest version of iGuidance has finger friendly enough controls. The other buttons work, like the zoom in and out and the 3d/2d buttons, but just stay away from the gps menu button with version 3.x of iGuidance.

How do I use the UMPC version with MI? Do i have to change the filenames of iGuidance exe's?

That worked for me..re-named iGuidanceUMPC.exe to iGuidance.exe

You have to delete or re-name the original iGuidance.exe tho'

Renaming the file was the only way i was able to get it to work. It's much easier to read now

I prefer the NON-UMPC myself, i find the pointer in the UMPC version is too big and i don't get a good perspective of where i am or going. IMHO.

I can a agree to that Treetop. Has anyone had the problem of MI not resizing iGuidance correctly? but when i exit MI and restart it, IG embeds perfectly. I am using the UMPC version and the menu button of IG is often hidden. Sorry for the horribly disorganized wording of this post. its late

This usually happens if you have alot of programs running on your systray. I have seen the Logitech webcam monitoring program and some of the touch screen monitoring programs cause a lot of problems with it embedding. Try to remove any unnecessary processes and see what happens. I havent had any reports of this. Thanks.

I removed my touchscreen monitor from startup and it's improved a little bit however it's still not embedding 100% of the time. I am running explorer in the background and have a shortcut for MI in the start menu. Red, let me know what other info you need. Thanks!
