couple questions

i just installed this front end and it seems great except for a couple things. whenever my computer turns off and i turn it back on, the song doesnt play automatically and the volume automatically goes to 25. is there any way to make it play what it was the last time it was on?

It is disigned (according to what i've read) to resume where you left off; mine does, and at the volume i left it. Not sure why yours is messing up. Sorry.

well i figured out that when i manually shut down the computer from mobile impact that it will save my settings, but if i shut off my car and allow the computer to shut off from that it will not.

also wondering if anyone could tell me how to put my own logo in the program, i downloaded the car manufactuers logos from mobile impact.com and i do not know how to use them in the program.

The way I have my setup is I use the "Shutdown Controller" program that uses the comport (shorting pins 8 and 4) to shut down the computer. When I do this, I guess MobileImpact is "forced" to shut down and does not save its settings... So I have the same problem as you do.

What I do, if I want to resume the same song when I get back into my car, is I manually exit from MobileImpact before I turn off my car. That way the settings gets saved. Then when I get back in, it starts right back up. How do you have your shutdown configured for your car?

take the logo that you want to use from the downloaded file. As an example, if you want to use the toyota.swf file rename it to logo.swf, then copy it into the skin folder that your using, and overwrite the existing logo.swf file.
