these visualizations make me cream my pants. frodo definately has some competition, i really like this program, and its just alpha!!
When I play mp3's and switch tracks the first doesnt stop playing. So im hearing two songs at the same time. This happens alot when the visuals are on the screen.
these visualizations make me cream my pants. frodo definately has some competition, i really like this program, and its just alpha!!
ok...im gonna try to answer many questions all at once.....
firstly the video crashing issue has been fixed and we will be posting a new installer tonite that fixes alot of those little bugs you all have reported including that one....
second, we will have keyboard shortcuts...it will be on beta 1
the scrolling marquee you can actually grab and move into view so the speed isnt that important...
eventually when we get a final flawless product it WILL have a settings page to allow all these things you ask for to be preferances.
both xm and fm SHOULD have independent volume controls if you have them plugged into your line input..
if this is not the case let me know
I hope that helps, so keep your eyes open for the update release
I agree. The visualizations are pretty wicked. My concern is a lot of them run really slow on my Atlhon XP 2500 w/512M RAM. In full screen mode, CPU is usage is between 75-99%. While just playing an MP3 with the mini-vis going, CPU usage is baout 20-35% for the bars and 50-70% for the double bar.
(Playing music videos: CPU usage is 30-50% small, 40-50% medium, and 10-25% full).
Anyone else notice this?

Thanks for the info.

I copied this from when I posted it in the other bug report thread. It is still a problem:
I have a large database of songs. I go and pick an artist to play. Up comes all of that artists songs. I will be listening and then it will get to a song that isn't by that artist. Took me a bit to figure it out but if there are any duplicate names in the database ( same song name, differant artists ) it will play one or the other. For example, I am listening to Artist A with a song called Song A. If there is a Artist B with a song of that same name as Song A, but is actually Song B, it will either play Song A for both artists or song B for both artists.
Thanks!

D-Link radio testing
Volume up and down work OK
When I click in the box the station list would be expected in I get this:

Now go back to mp3, change track - I have 2 mp3's playing. Back to radio and back to mp3, and I can add a third layer of mp3. For some reason there is a bug in the way that mp3's are handled in the switch to radio.
I can't seem to save new stations to a station list. How is it intended that this will work. I'm happy to have a single list. If you like, I can send you through the details as to how Radiator structure their station lists.
Hope this is a helpful start.
