Audio and video files work but no DVD.
DVD drive on main test machine is an HP DVD200i

MMC 5.01:
*Terminator 3 DVD.... video, no audio
*Rocky 2 DVD.... Freezes MMC at FBI warning
*Varsity Blues DVD.... Freezes MMC while buffering
*Apollo 13 DVD.... Freezes after DVD menu
*Local .mov's won't play at all and crash MMC

DVD drive: Sony DVD-RW DRU-510A
DirectX 9.0c

This is the new features and plugin request thread. Please read through the already posted suggestions before posting. More than likely someone may have already thought of it. I've added the stuff from the old thread and removed some of the features that have been implemented.

As always uninstall old version, delete any droppings left over after uninstall and install new version.

This version has some better DVD handling code we want you to test out and give us the results. We are hoping for better results then the previous versions. Visual preferences now save to config file on exit. Quicktime codecs are included int he installer, so MOV and QT files should work. Version 0.5.4 will have more of the bug fixes reported over the past week plus a new DVD fix based on the feedback we get.

that is really weird..the splash screen comes on...but the software does not load....the task manaer shows that the player keeps increasing the space it takes on ram...but never loads...is anyone else experiencing this? or is my computer being retarted!

You need to edit the Mobile Media Center.exe.CONFIG file. Looks like when Hybrid compiled MMC, they still had some settings set for use on their computer. Make yours look like this:
