On my desktop (XP, SP2) I'm having the same problems as CustomZ02, it builds the media database and then crashes.
On my laptop I got it working (XP, SP1).
When I launch the program, the frame from "Genre", "All music", "volume" etc is visible, and going into "music mode" and clicking on the "LIST" button the next option shows up, fades away and then pops back, fully visible.
I do not have the same problems with 1/2 as AlienEclipse.
As for mini mode I think that MediaCar (haven't tried Frodo's) had a nice solution where the external app was still "embedded" in MediaCar.
Tried the DVD player with the same results as AlienEclipse.
Haven't tested the DVD yet but I have noticed this:
Sometimes a file or group of files will be shown more than once. In this case, the folder shown only has three files, but as you can see, two of them are being shown twice. Seen this in another folder too but couldn't take a screen shot...

Thats not my problem, I can get it to run and it runs fine. But in my music list I have some folders where my music is located and when I click on those folders with in the list I get an error that as if i want to stop operation or continue anyway. Then I get a white box with a red X where the music list should be. Ill get a screen shot maybe ull better understand what im talking about. Maybe its something I didnt do right in the .cfg should it have a trailing \ after I select my directory? And If I let mmc try and find the stuff alone it won't it just sits there and then crashes which is why I had to enter it into the .cfg manually. Thanks again tho.
I got a question...The screen savers on MMC, Personaly I like this new version's screen saver better, it dances with the music...thats kick ***! But are you going to have a selection of diff screen savers? If not thats cool, I dig this screen saver.
I retract my previous statement...I didn't know clicking the top middle button changed the visulation...DAYUM there's alot of nice ones.
So far MP3/CD Playback works perfect. Haven't tested DVD playback yet.
Guess what kind of car I drive...

I'm JK!!! The 350z would have been much higher in my choice of cars if it wasn't for the lack of the rear seats. But that's the only reason why I couldn't give it any serious thought.
Nice skin too.
Does this really work or is it just something done in Photoshop?
