    Software Solution ?

    Hello HybridEngineer,

I would like to inquire about the status of the “Software Solution” that your folks are working on.

When can we anticipate the release of this software?

    Regards,
    Retsaoc

It is in the works now. We are doing a lot of testing and writing the plug-ins for all the various XM Hardware support. It is hard to say an ETA just yet. I will post something here as soon as I know. The nice thing about this solution is it will do true translation of commands if that is needed. This will be a solution that will try to keep compatibilty of all XM applications. That way XM application writers will not have to keep updating there software.

    Thanks

OK, so you wanted my skin files. here ya go.

    Firstly, download the zip file.
    http://www.reviews.phucknut.net/aaron/FordSkin.zip

Unzip, and put the files in the following places:

    (1) Ford [Folder]
    (2) Ford.xml [File] - Put these two in your 'Membranes' folder.

    (1) MobileMediaCenter.exe.config - Put this file in your MMC Root Folder (Overwrite the existing one)

Should you WANT to return to your original skin, open up 'MobileMediaCenter.exe.config' in wordpad/notepad and change the word ford in the line skin='Ford' to skin='default'

All the files inside of the MEmbranes folder is editable...besides the black boxes. They are PPG Files and easily customizeable through Photoshop. Also the positions of the buttons can be moved. you just have to spend some time...make copies of things or get used to reinstalling MMC....I changed the entire layout of MMC...but then accidentaly screwed something up that I Didn't realize and had to start over lmao.
