I just havent been able to get to my car to download install it yet.... (I only saw it this morning when i got to work)

My hard drive died so I'm not testing either till I get my new hard drive.

It shows the splash screen and thats it. It leaves the process running at 0% CPU and 52-54MB Ram usage. Occasionally i get the Microsoft Debugger come up, but it doesn't tell me anything. And yes i did completely remove the previous version.

Running XP Pro + SP2, fully up to date.

The same exact thing happened to me. I'm also running XP Pro SP2. I never had MMC installed before so there's no issue with previous versions being on my computer.

This is what happend when i clicked video -- full screen. I didn't have anything playing at the time

Not a bug, just a question. Will audio input box come up everytime I start MMC?
Photo folder? is there going to be another button for that? Slideshows?

mmc 5 rev 6 is working for me but the xmdirect w/mikes cable is not working

it just sais no signal

This may be a stupid question, but did you make sure to hit the red power button on the XM Screen?
