I'm out of ideas, I had the same problem that you were having, but it was fixed as soon as I changed the 'Musicfolder' and the 'Videofolder' in the config file to existing folders.

so far so good.. I do have one issue.. but this is not specific to MMC ... my XM-direct is plugged into the line-in on my Audigy 2NX... unfortunately it will only play on the front 2 channels.. I cannot get it to play using all the output channels as selected in the audio profile (5.1 in my case)
is this due to the audigy drivers... or can you mighty programmers override this??
well a little secret here.....go to the home screen and hit the hybrid logo :D ...its a bit buggy but it works...just dont click on folders in the photo folder it will crash. the audio input box does come up every time right now...i guess the logic was if you change and add devices to your system it asks...but we will look into making that less annoying
I have an audigy, i will check into itQuote:

I thought i had made it clear that i had completely removed the previous version.
just trying to help.
did you install the patch hybridengineer released?
otherwise this is a hybridengineer quesiton
Still no go. I installed the patch and I am still having the same problem. I get the splash screen and then nothing. During installation I selected my e: drive instead of the c: drive. Could this cause the problem??
I mean't no offense.Quote:

for some reason the volume control wouldnt change tha actual volume.. it showed the changes on screen... but it didnt change the volume for me... I could not get it to work... even after restarting MMC... it was still like that...
its kind of a sporadic thing i guess.... cos earlier I had full control over the volume...
oh.. can we get it to control all the input volumes together with the master volume.. just like Media Engine... that way I can turn it down softly when my mom is in the car.. and blast it all the way when its just me...
That would be a awesome feature.. without too much work i would think...
try changing it to c:\ for all your media folders... and see if that works...
I guess you had better luck that I. I can't get it to play my media files at all. I can see them in BROWSE mode only but none of them actually play. In the other listing modes (Album, genre, ...) nothing even appears in the play listing. I haven't been able to test much else except that I did notice the program pop up error messages under several conditions.
that didn't work either.Quote:
