    The latest version has a option in the config file.. where you have to enable XM... so i dont think that its the XM...

    I somehow cant get mine to control my system volume at all.... I still have to figure out if its a ID10T error.. or if its a actual bug...

    Installing it now. I'll let you know if I find anything.

    FWIW I haven't even had a chance to try Frodoplayer 1.09 yet. Too busy with life.

    I was playing a few MP3s. Then I inserted a DVD in the drive. A few moments later I got an error message. I have no idea if it was a coincidence, but I was unable to reproduce it.

    Found another one in the Video area. I have a couple of Directories inside my video folder. If I choose one of those I get an error message. There's nothing special about my directory names.

    Code:

    Illegal characters in path.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
    application or machine (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
    rather than being handled by this dialog.

    Start up MMC, then play a Video Clip. While the video clip is still playing, try to start a DVD. You must do it in that order. Here's the error you get:

    A serious error has occurred while trying to play a DVD
    Specified cast is not valid.

    I also have the 100% volume issue. It didn't do it initially, but I guess after putting it to 100% and restarting the program, it always hits 100%. I can get it to 98% for a split second and then it goes right back up to 100%.

    P.S. I'm a systems tester by occupation. Sorry for the bombardment of bugs, but it's in my nature to report these types of issues.

    I found another small issue (low priority). Shuffle works forwards but not in reverse.

    Example:
    Forwards...
    Song 1 -> Fwd -> Song 9 -> Fwd -> Song 6
    Test Passed

    Rewind:
    Song 1-> Fwd -> Song 12 -> Prev -> Song 11 -> Prev -> Song 10 -> Prev -> Song 9
    Test Failed

    It will shuffle if you advance to the next track. If you Reverse it actually goes back one song in the ordered list. I would expect it should either replay the previous track or shuffle to a random track. I'm just guessing.

    This marks my fifth bug posting for Alpha 6. Please let me know if you want me to stop.

    Ack.... I'm out of control here!!!

    If you have both Shuffle and Repeat on at the same time and click FWD, it doesn't shuffle. It just advances to the next track. Is that how it should be?

    Why would you have repeat and shuffle both clicked??

    I also have the volume control problem. I click to lower the volume and it goes to 95 but then right back to 100.

    1. When another application is opened overtop of MMC while video is playing in full-screen mode, when the other application is closed or minimized, the video disappears and it just shows the controls while the audio continues to play.

    2. .MOV (QuickTime) files show up in the video list, but the program crashes if I choose to play one of them. I have QuickTime installed.
