    Winamp visuals

I read that winamp visuals where supported however, I am probably a total retard in these things. I downloaded GEISS visuals and copied them in the visuals directory of MMC. Did I do this right? They are not working propperly for me :x

    Thanks in advance!

    Error with XM Direct Cable??

I bought one of HybridMike's XM Direct cables, and today finally got it connected. One problem though, the exem software he offered keeps telling me that the XM Direct cable is NOT connected. I'm figuring that it's simply changing the com ports, but there's no way for me to do it because the software just shuts down. Is there a way for me to change the com port setting on the Exem program?? BTW this is being tested on my home PC that only has one serial port. I'm sure there's another, but I don't have the stupid little plugin adapter to do it handy. HELP!!!!

I am sure you are doing this already, but try to make sure all the switches for the CECU and XM are set to false for installation.

I am trying to recreate your problem.
I setup MMC on my second system and it works fine. I believe that MMC is crashing on my other system at the point where it asks for an audio input.
I have got a Creative Audigy 2 ZS on my main system.

I hope this information can help

Could you tell me how you stripped the PPG files? I would like to do the same thing as you did, perhaps you can put your skin online?

    thanks!

uninstall your com ports with the cable unpluged scan for hardware changes, restart the pc and hook the cable up. This should get you going, Also eXeM scans the com ports for the XM direct no need to set com ports.

Ok, I give up. I have to ask a question. I have been messing with this all night. I made my cable tonight, checked it like 50 times, have taken it all apart, resoldered, checked another 50 times, and nothing works. How do I know what port this thing is on? Should I see it in device manager? Frodoplayer take3 does nothing. I uninstalled, removed the directory, restarted, reinstalled. nothing. I have been searching the board, nothing that helps. Removed and reinstalled my com ports, nothing. Please help as I am getting very frustrated. Thanks.

MMC Rev 6 Will not uninstall!

I go to add/remove programs, click MMC, then uninstall. It starts up then just sits there at about 80%

I kept the car on for 20 mins, WAY longer than it should take. I tried it 5 times. Then deleted the folder, tried to install Rev 7 and get the lovely "Already installed" dialog box. What do I need to do to manually remove it? What in the registry should I do? I'd go in there and start deleting stuff but I'm sure you guys know exactly what to do. I need this app working before tomorrow!! I'm showing the car off at a race this weekend and am leaving tomorrow!!

you need to know what com port on your computer yuo are plugging it into....

if you have a EPIA MII board.. you only have COM1 on board.... as far as serial goes.. so in frodoplayer.. set XM to use COM1

    it should work then...
