right.. i was just trying to help you get it to work in frodoplayer... I never used the example software....

Sweet!! Does it include a fix for the crazy volume button? (Pressing volume up sometimes shoots it to 100 scaring the crap out of me and anyone in the car.)

I'll post a new thread for the purpose of tracking bugs. My intent will be to simply have a post that lists bugs but is NOT for discussing how to fix it. It will be more along the lines of the features request thread where it is simply a list and nothing else. If possible, I may request that mods remove any posts in that thread (once the bug has been added to the list)...

I ordered the module from timetrax to use the XM direct. It comes with the timetrax software. I havnt recieved it yet but hopefully soon. How will this integrate with MMC? Will MMC detect the XM and allow me to control it without the use of the timetrax software? Or is that only for the pcr? If not, what are my options for the best integration possible? By the way; I love the new release. Great work.

Yes.. MMC will allow you to control it. It is just an XM Direct. It will work just fine.

As far as the radio goes, we are working on a better Radio tuner system. Just keep an eye on the forum to get any updates on what we end up doing.

The latest version of MMC now has ignition control monitoring, video/dvd lockout and reverse trigger for reverse camera. This is all integrated thru a CECU box we manufacturer. We could end up making this something universal that all the frontends could talk to and I could talk to Ziplock to see if he wants to sell it on mp3car.com... that is a topic for another discussion though.

I am now starting on the skinning system and skin editor. I would like to hear suggestions from the skinners what they would like to see in the skin system. There are many ways to do skinning and I am trying to decide on the best method.

MMC currently treats everything on the screen as a seperate object which then down the road can be scripted and controlled by skinners or programmers. There is also the method of where you have the complete image of the buttons down and a complete image of the buttons up and the skin system draws the proper section to the screen.

Suggestions and comments are needed please...
