Try deleting the xml file in the main directory this will tell it to rebuild the database, yes it will eventually update differently but for now we want to make sure it works in every enviornment. try doing this, then adding more ....monitor how big the databse is each time, then when it crashes note the database size and let us know. Also what is your machines specs, this will help us find the problem.Quote:
So I go it and pull all the music out but about a gig, all is fine, loads up nicely, so I start copying music back, however it doesn't add the newly copied music to the database. I'm stuck with only being able to access the original folder that it built on first execution.
Thanks again for the support
Mike
Well in that case the best package to use is Destinator 2.Quote:

It would be nice if you programatically overcome the map switching problem. It was designed for the PDA so you must switch maps if you cross the map lines. That makes it hard to plan long journes.
Yes to all your questionsQuote:

Delete the Media.xml file. Then restart... try this and let me know.Quote:

Were you using the first alpha release by chance? We had another user experience the same problem. He uninstalled it, uninstalled Microsoft .NET 2.0, rebooted, and then reinstalled. This fixed the issue.Quote:

Thanks
Can anyone see if they have this same issue...
I was playing an MP3 and watching the visualization then I inserted a DVD in the DVD-ROM while the visualization was displayed going along with the music. As soon as the DVD tray went in and the system recognized a DVD movie, MMC AR2 automatically switched to DVD video play and continued to play the mp3 in the background while the dvd was playing. None of the buttons on the DVD menu seem to work because no matter what I clicked on, nohting happened. It would just sit there with the DVD's menu in the window with the dvd sound playing on top of the MP3..
