This update should fix the message you were having Rith, plus it disables the DVD auto detection for now. It is very unstable. I apologize for this and I am working on working hard on the DVD code.
Thanks

This new exe works fine for allowing us to still have an emulated CD/DVD-ROM but it will not find the right drive to scan for DVD-Media.Originally Posted by HybridEngineer
Previous release..
Disabled emulation drive setup by Alcohol 120%. MMC will run and DVD function will play DVD video from the DVD-ROM drive.
New exe..
Enabled emulation drive on system as secondary cd/dvd-rom drive letter (Physical DVD-ROM is at F:, and emulated cd/DVD-ROM drive letter is at G, MMC will not play DVD video from the Physical DVD-ROM drive. It goes to a black screen and nothing happens..
Possible solution?
Would it be possible to add a setting in the config file to label what drive letter the DVD-ROM drive is located at for proper playback?

So, I'm running an epiah M10000 gig processor with 512 megs or ram, external Soundblaster Audigy 2NX, XMpcr, and a usb external hard drive, xp professional.
I tested the app last night with the music I had available, first I'd like to say this is the nicest looking app I've seen, I like the layout and love the interface. However I have issues, first the database issue with a screen shot below of the error message.
Second, it bogs the system down, heavily, when I start to listen to an mp3 it'll play for a few seconds then I get a nice sounding crackle the mp3 slows for a few seconds then continues, and does this repeatedly. It should be noted that all my mp3's are encoded as high quality variable bit rate mp3's. This issue might be due to the external sound card as I'm less then thrilled with it's perfomance, however this behavior is not present in any other media application.
Visuals are very nice... everything rocks except for the two issues above, here is a screenshot of the error I'm receiving when trying to build my database
don't know if it helps but here is the content of the error...

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.
