    its a gif and you can put it anywhere. the home screen can be completely custom, the player screens are being changed now so that you can move everything around, or just leave it like it is and only change the background

    Yes, you can make anything animated....background, buttons. You can change the font, color or style of the letters. Supported images are .BMP, .PNG, .GIF and probably more. have been tryin to get an Animated XM logo on the XM page...but for some reason when I save it, it screws up entirely. So I just said screw it.

    where were you when I needed you...I have been lookin everywheres for **** like that and couldn't find crap.
    that site has been around for a long time, ive been trying to take some of the animations he has and making a gif and using it as the background on the players by importing a avi or mpg in a gif editor. Ben almost has the player done so that we can move that stuff around too. once that is done, you can make our player look like anything you want

So I just said screw it.
    I dont know if hes fixed it yet, but when i made that skin i noticed i could not take the subview out of the xml, so what i did was trick it start with a black canvas for the main view then take the background image you want to use and set the subview for 800x600 with x and y coordinates of 1, 1 this will basicly stretch the subview out over the main view and you can do anything you want at that point.

    WOW sounds good, Couple of questions:

    1.Will you have a Skin Editor with the MMC1 Release

    2.Will be be able to add our GPS program to it [iguidance,Destinator] in MMC1
    [I think this is one of the main things missing from MMC, it would be hard to use the your frontend all the time without GPS] I travel alot

    3.Stop Teasing us and release this so we can play with it already

    the skin editor will come later, however i am not a programmer and the xml is very easy to use and skin

    I believe he is going to add this, he was working on it the other day...

    I am using Beta 1 now, you guys will get more closely a final version...it will be worth the wait

    if you want to take out the subview...change the resolution to 0x0

    I'd say dont fix that problem....just change the resolution to 0x0....and whenever you want to add a submenu to it....just reopen it whereever and however big you want.

    Skin Editor will come later. The XML is easy to use anyways...you wont need a skin editor. Its just simple math and using photoshop.

    GPS, were working to get Detinator integrated into MMC1. MMC2 will have ALL the GPS programs for your option.

    Stop teasing...we can't help ourselves man...its soo fun and getting more exciting by the moment.

    Talking MMC Frontend now with GPS

    Yup...

    Beta 1 will have integrated GPS via Destinator. I received the official SDK from Destinator. We are working out a deal with them to package there system up with ours. You will be able to bypass the default GPS Destinator and choose your own GPS software to embed (Any application can be embeded now in MMC, no need for Mini mode anymore =] )

    Here is a screen shot of what I have so far... Not a huge milestone yet, but it is working and will be completely integrated for Beta 1 release, controllable thru the Skin system.
