    - Opens up Paint Automatically on Program Start. On Exit, this Application is still Left Open.

    Also, can you clarify where to edit the skin file for the Embedded Apps. I guess I'm just blind.
    just so you all know, Ben's wifes mother died and they are in Michegan for the weekend and he will be returning on monday so I will attempt to help out the best i can as a matter of fact, i made the installer with him on the phone...lol (and im not a programmer)

    so anyways when he returns we are going to wrap up this with another update to fix some of the stupid little bugs that get past us.... much thanks for pointing them out for us...

    so just curious why does everyone want the front ends to resume when you load the program? I use hibernate and it starts back up exactly where it left off... what is the reason for shutting down the cpu instead of hibernating?

    we will add those features for tuesdays update.
    we have paint the default app embedded so you can see how to modify it in the skin file.... should be at the bottom of the default.xml file in the membranes folder should look something like this: (change whats in red)

    <view id="embeddedApps" backgroundImage="musicbackground.png">
    <application id="paint" absolutePath="C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\mspaint.exe" x="0" y="59" width="800" height="474" />-->

    <button
    id="homeButton"
    x="724"
    y="535"
    width="64"
    height="64"
    normalImage="homebutton.png"
    action="mmc.OpenView('mainMenu')" />
    </view>

    Skining MMC

    just so you all know you can skin MMC by modifying the default.xml file in the membranes folder it is very very easy to skin as long as you know your x,y coordinates and can make graphics you can do it

    What On Earth?

    When i launch MMC, the splash screen shows up then disappears. Then Visual C++ starts up in debug mode witt a file called disassemble in realation to mobilemediacenter.exe.

    Yes i have uninstalled both the old MMC and .net 2.0 beta 1 and installed .net 2.0 beta 2.

    Any thoughts.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled both .net framework and MMC - no luck. I did however notice that under the administrative tools the shortcut for the .net 2.0 config wizard is pointing to configwizard.exe which doesn't exist. I know this shortcut wasn't left over from beta 1, becuase i watched the installation and saw reference to setup creating the shortcut.

    anywho for your reference this is what C++ opens up like.

    i just checked something and if the default path to mspaint that we put in the skin file is not right, it will behave that way.....just change the path to any other program you want to embed...see it that helps

    I used to be able to click the Hybrid logo and cycle through all the visualizations. But clicking the logo does nothing now. Is there only one or is it a bug?

    Ok...installed and testing on my home PC. So far it's looking pretty good.

    I love the built in EQ. My car will be so much happier now. Is there a way for me to tweek the response speed of the EQ? I know that it could cause playback issues, but it would still be nice to have control over.
