    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
    application or machine (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
    rather than being handled by this dialog.
    yeah im aware of that problem... its floders that are crashing it.... you should be able to just click continue and it wont affect it... it will be fixed on the next update

    i was thinking of adding preset settings like hip hop, techno, rock, ect... and add a loud button as well

    we are going to add gapless playback and crossfading as a native option in the config file as well

    This is officially very promising!

    Needs a nicer skin IMHO (this one is too futuristic and complicated... more intuitive icons, and maybe labels underneath... I dont know what the one under the camera (middle lower row) is, for example... everything should be really intuitive in the CarPC...

    And also 800x480 is a big request from my end...

    I like the browsing for media very much. I like the speed very much... impressive it is .NET, goes to show the .NET critics that it is all in the fingers of the programmer (if ya catch my drift)...

    Improved GPS support or MapMonkey embedding is also a must for my use.

    well if you open up the default.xml file in notepad you will see how easy it is to skin this app... the icon you speak of is relay control....we do have gps support...you need your own maps though for destinator..... we have very limited support for it at this point, but you can embed any app you want right in the skin file by simply adding the path to the program.... this will get alot easier shortly.... we are wrapping up version one and will then start the documentation on how to do certain things, this will clear alot up.

    Agreed, would be nice to have a set of preset equalizers that we can then later fine tune more to out liking.

    Yeah, presets will be added. I also am going to add the feature of allowing each song to have its own EQ settings and to be saved so as your songs are being played the EQ settings for that song will be loaded each time it plays. I thought that would be a cool feature

    Anyway...

    Have you guys thought of ways to upload videos and music to the system? Sure you could have a share folder that you access via Wifi and copy to it from your house... but it seems... less secure and less elegant. How about a small upload app? Easily built in VB, VBScript, WMI and WSH. Install it on your home pc with the correct settings on both ends. And voila... you can easily manage your car pc files from the comfort of your desktop. Just a thought...
    Not sure if this has been cleared up or not, but I have been working on a program that will be run on any PC in your home allowing management of your media and then when an MMC car is detected on the network the data can be "synchronized". You are right and this is only common sense. We will be releasing it soon after version 1.0 is completed.

    We will be improving many things, GPS being a huge priority. We will be posting another build tonight (Tuesday EST )
