i replaced the file and it still crashes, any other ideas?
I uninstalled all the old versions as well as .NET version 2....
then i installed the newer .NET ver 2 ... followed by MMC beta 1...
Everything works great.. except that it is painfully slow.. the previous versions were nice and fast... this one looks like im running it on a old XT..
ive got a M12k with 512Mb ram... any ideas? is it something i can do on my side? or does MMC require a faster pc ?
oh and im running win XP with minlogon
You're the first ever as far as I can remember to say MMC is slow. So I am curious to what all the specs are of your computer. We are running it on old TX3's and it's insane fast. Could you give me more info on your system? But to answer your question, it does not require a faster PC.Quote:

Thanks
I will be posting a new build tonight with some fixes and new features. I might even have a rough speech command system in place as of this evening.
I am also creating a logging system to log each step of the load process for MMC, this way when it crashes for users like AlienEclipse you can post the status log file and I will have a better ideas of where it is crashing. My first priority is to get that bug nailed once and for all.
Thanks
Uploading all the files now for the new update... will make an official post for the new one.
In the meantime, those of you using Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2 that we posted needs to uninstall it. We received the latest and greatest last night, which is very new. It is worth it though, Microsoft fixed a lot of bugs.
Thanks. Will be making the post within the hour...

You need the version of .NET Framework 2.0 posted tonight. It is the LATEST version. You must install all old versions of .NET Framework (this will be the last framework update for awhile), and uninstall old versions of Mobile Media Center.

NOTES
-=-=-=
A new logging system is now in place to help track down errors. If MMC crashes or never starts, look in the root install folder for a statuslog.txt file and post the contents in this forum along with any other bugs you find, please.
Switching visuals fixed, Destinator integration should be working, and Photo screen with slideshow fixed. Will be posting new builds nightly now :D
Thanks! :buddy:
