Okay, you got it
I will be posting Rev 5 in 10 - 20 min with MapMonkey integration.
Yeah, and also by making more releases you will get more people to play with it, and you will get more feedback, more requests, more support from the community which will give you a reason to develop quicker, which will get more itnerest, more requests, more support, and make you develop quicker, and so on and so forth... hehehehe
Keep em coming! people might have 2 nights in a row to play, and not have the rest of the week, so why keep from releasing it for 1 extra night???

I get nothing at all, at first i thought maybe it was because it had a problem reading my 10,000+ MP3's, so i just pointed it to about 3 ablums and still the same thing![]()
my PC specs are:
AMD 2700+
1Gig Ram
XP SP2 PRO
ATI 9600 AIW
MMC 1 r.4
I haven't had the spare time to check out MMC yet, but I would suggest nightly builds, as long as you have an easy way for people to verify which build they have, and you have good source control.
thats it, im hunting you down!I haven't had the spare time to check out MMC yet![]()

Ok, here it is
This new rev has MapMonkey integration.
Uninstall the old version. Delete any left over files after the uninstall.
There is a download with Speech Engine and one without.
Post bugs and statuslogs here when you encounter them...
Rev 6 (This weekend) will have PhoneControl, better app embedding support, feature request additions, and bug fixes.
Thanks!

nice! This is really a Rev4 deal, but app embedding is flaky. Especially with iguidance. Seems like because of the warning sign delay, mmc is having a hard time embedding it. Often times it just leaves a black screen in embedded app ode instead of the application. but it does work on occation.

ok, just took a run at in on my desktop.
First, the embedded app issue is still there. also, about the mebedded appz with iGuidance, the warning message sometimes disapears behind the mmc window, which would make it impossible to click on on a touchscreen based system.
Two, Video Mode. The right hand side slider disappeared.
Three, I got the following error on Exit:
Could this be because of Low memeory or modified default.xml?See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

Ok, just so you can eliminate the possibility, I uninstalled rev 5, deleted the directory, and reinstalled it leaving the origanol Default.xml in place.
Both bugs are still present. As far as the exit issue, to be more specific on it. I started MMC, went into video mode, started to play any video, then went back to home. i can still here the sound from the vide, which imo is a nice feature! And then, when i click exit and confirm yes on the dialog does this error come about.
Also, forgot to ask, what kind of time frame we looking at for an implementation of saving the playlist/currently played song? (if ever) preferably something that updates on the fly and not just on exit.
