Just wanted to let you guys now I have been working hard on Rev 7. Mostly the web browsing. I am making it with some really cool features, like if you click on a link that is an MP3 it plays it or if you click on a ShoutCast or IceCast link it will play it as well. Also integration with the OSK to make for easy navigation. I am trying to make the UI very simple and very effective at the same time.

If you have any suggestions or special requests for the web browser portion, now is the time to speak up. I am working off the new Feature Request sub forum, so please post any requests you do not see on the list in there as well and they will be added...

I will be releasing Rev 7 tonight with some bug fixes, the new web browser, and skinning support.

The skinning guide will be included.

Ran into some issues with Rev 7 and the skinning guide is taking a little longer then we had hoped, so we will continue with the release sometime tonight (Saturday).

Getting impatient here...

OK, just one thing to keep in mind, before it becomes really useable we need a way of running this on 800x480 resolutions... I have native 16:9 *800x480) so is this already contemplated?

Or maybe another idea is to have 800x600 skin, stretched style, but Videos, Visualizations and Photos, and GPS, etc must be scaled, otherwise it gets stretched and doesnt look good at all...

I think it is plain easier to have a skin resizer, no? (Like in RR, there is a skin resolution, and display resolution, and it changes the skin look to fit the screen... NMC also has this...
