    OK, just one thing to keep in mind, before it becomes really useable we need a way of running this on 800x480 resolutions... I have native 16:9 *800x480) so is this already contemplated?

    Or maybe another idea is to have 800x600 skin, stretched style, but Videos, Visualizations and Photos, and GPS, etc must be scaled, otherwise it gets stretched and doesnt look good at all...

    I think it is plain easier to have a skin resizer, no? (Like in RR, there is a skin resolution, and display resolution, and it changes the skin look to fit the screen... NMC also has this...

    well yes and no, you can build a skin from scratch on 800x480 and just specify that in that membranes .xml file.... but you cant just change the resolution and have it stretch... not yet anyways, if you simply go into the skin file and change it from 800x600 to 800x480 it will cut off the bottm row of buttons... but it wont crash or anything.

    the new build will be out soon (wraping it up now), posted a skin guide and I will answer any questions that need be for people... i sorta became the skin guru for MMC..lol

    Yeah, I figured it wasnt in there still....

    I dont really feel like having to resize your skins manually though...

    I would like to request the skin stretching built into MMC as the next feature to be looked at, otherwise it is just plain impossible to use on 16x9 monitors... (Unless someone can tell me how to do this that wont look bad - changing the carpc res to 800x600 works but the video/gps/images look distorted because they are being resized from 800x600 to display on 16x9)....

    Okay I will work on some automatic stretching system for the skins and build it in... will not be in until prob Beta 2 release though, have to rewrite some of the plumbing for the skin engine for this to work.

    Exclamation [FRONTEND] *NEW* MMC Beta 1 Rev 7

    Sorry for the delay on this one, adding a lot of stuff made it really unstable. This version should be stable now.

    You can access the new browser by clicking on the Mobile Media Center logo on the main page. Once in your in the browser, hit the hybrid logo to browse to a site. Click on any text box on a page to type something into it

    Bug fixes and added some more save and resume settings. I will hopefully be posting a Rev 7 patch tonight and then Rev 8 tomorrow.

    I am still working on it, I am having problems when I start to reach around 8000+ files... it has been very tricky to track down. I do not know if its a framework issue or MMC as of yet, I will keep you posted.

    MMC Beta 1 Rev 7 Patch/Hotfix

    This fixes the issues with the video screen. Also fixes the Default.xml skin file for the new video skinning element. The web browser bug still is not fixed, fix should be in rev 8 (sorry RoyN! )

    Can you re-instate the Radiator interface that you had a while ago? There were some problems/bugs with it, but at least it worked and was stable. This will improve my ability to test...

    Bitoholic, dont forget an indicator for connection state/ability to connect/disconnect from connection source? (basically dial gprs/hangup)

    How's the progress comming along for Rev8? Also, you've got to change the way Embedded Appz works and destinator. The fact that the appz get launched before mmc can start playing music or anything else is simply killing the startup times.
