It would appear that my original suspisions were correct. They used us as free beta testers.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I would like to be paid for the time I spent testing this software.

They said that they were going to sell their software since the beginning. They said the software would always be free to mp3car members, which it is. And since when do beta testers get paid? They never hired us.

xBrady is right. They never hired you. They posted the software and you voluntarily used it.

That said, $2499 for that "package" is ******* nuts. What a joke!

Why have we been had?
If you didn't want to spend time testing you shouldn't have done so! But you did out of your own free will. Who does pay for Beta testing anyway? CF will go commercial soon, 100's of us have beta tested that for over 9months and we won't get paid, and I don't think we should! They did the hard work, we did the playing!!
If any enterprising individuals from here want to go commercial with the results of their hard work (and a little help from us) then fair enough, its up to them. But in all honesty I think that pretty much no one who spends time on mp3car.com is going to buy that though, its expensive, for me anyway....
IMHO its for people who aren't technically minded and able to do it theirself.

My point is that they have removed the software for us to download. You can no longer get it. They released V1.0 already. We were told that we would get a new release soon, but due to a personal problems there was a delay. It doesn't seem to me like there was any delay at all.

If MMC is still free, then we should have a new link to download it. I doubt we will ever see it.

As far as getting paid as a beta tester... it's my day job.

They jujst put the download and if you want to use it you can but they like it if you report the bugs...
