Hey guys, I'm pretty good friends with Ben, main programmer of Hybrid Mobile's iMeedia. You guys haven't been had. And the software is still free, and V1.0 hasn't been released yet. Alot of stuff has been going on and Hybrid Mobile is still around, but very faint. Ben has been going through alot of stuff and pretty much asn't touched iMeedia for the past few months. I talk to him every time he's online and soon the progress of iMeedia v1.0 will continue. But it isn't done. None of you have anything to worry about. Also that web link provided, that is OLD! That has been there while MMC was still in Alpha stages and this stuff was still somewhat new to us all. The price is what they came up with at that time. Once things start getting up to date, the price will most likely and will drop down to about half that for a fully built system.

No need to worry guys. Things have just been put on pause for Hybrid Mobile. Too much personal stuff going on for them. So please bare with them. I ask you this as a MP3Car friend, and friend of the guys of Hybrid Mobile, as well as one of the Graphics Designers for Hybrid Mobile.

If you have any questions, please provide them here and I will try to answer anything you have, and if I can't I'll try to get some of the HM guys on to talk to you all.

I've copy-pasted and typed in both Opera 8.02 and IE 6.0
I've even tried http://mp3car:finalnext@www.hybrid-mobile.com/mp3car/
None seems to work..

Any idea why?

Until there are new updates, I'm going to treat this as another MediaCar and move on. It's been fun.

Well, until the guys can get thier personal stuff together, there wont be any updates. Ben has told me that he has barely touched iMeedia lately. BUT he also has told me that there are going to be some new stuff going into it when he does.

When iMeedia 1 and especialy v2.0 comes out, you guys will not be disapointed.

If you are referring to ID3 tags in MP3 then yes. They are used.

The M$ site is confusing as hell and the hybrid site is down.
