Yes the web cam will allow recording of video that will be saved to your video folder, and a snapshot feature for pictures which can be viewed in a pic viewer. The solutions for the ODBII and CAN have been serial and USB, but we are looking at every angle we possibly can.

Well, I just downloaded the install from your site yesterday. So I should have all the updates already, right? In that case, I would like to log an official defect. ;)

I'm getting my EPIA MII board on Monday, so I'll be trying it out on that if we can't figure this out by then.

Actually, there are two files. The install, which you downloaded and the update patch. The update patch is the link I posted above. If you download this it should fix your isssue.

I downloaded the latest update and stumbled accross a problem when playing songs by album. I've only been playing with this for a little while but I'm 2 for 2. When I select and album to play-it shows that its playing the song from the album, but the song actually playing is by a different artist. I loaded up Murmur by REM and it played the first song, then the second song it started playing a Nine Inch Nails song. Second Album Metallica Justice For All fourth song it plays a Creed song.

I have yet to update (I just sent my opus power supply back) to the newest version but I was having this same problem with artist. I would click on goo goo dolls and it would put non-goo goo dolls songs in there etc. etc... I had about 8,000 songs in my database so I'm not sure if that helps. Going to be a tuff one to debug.

I was able to duplicate this, we will have that fixed on the new update, as well as having list memory too....


Brady...just curious, how long does your machine take to build the database?

I did a search of this thread and did not see that anybody has requested a feature where the DVD, Apps and even the vis could be locked out when driving using a serial input circuit - such as the one discussed here:

Well, I am still using a little bit older of a version. So tomorrow I will bring my carputer in my house and use my other power supply to update the software and time it all. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Nevermind. Still waiting for one part. Won't be able to test it till tuesday.

Worked once and not any more. Bummer since I closed it before I got to play with it much. Any fix for this so I can rip it apart ? :)
