I just installed this on a EzGo 3032 (WinXP, 128meg, 20gig) and it's running pretty well. The system hasn't been installed into a vehicle yet, it's sitting here getting burned in while I figure out how to mount it all to survive my off-road driving. :)

Anyway... I like it a lot. The UI handles very well (I'm using a Xenarc 700TSV); it's easy to get around in, track play is quick, browse is easy to work on the 7" screen...

I'll need to play with it some more to get a good handle on things, but you've done an awesome job thus far!

I have an "oops" for ya'...

When the audio browse list is in "all tracks" mode, picking a track to play leaves Artist & Album as "unknown", yet you must have read the ID3 tags since you show the track correctly when the browse list is in Artist mode.

update: Actually, the above is wrong, there's more to this... The list is only showing Artist & Album when it's in browse mode, Artist/Album/Genre mode only show "unknown". To look at the symptoms again, it looks like you're not reading the ID3 tags at all.

update-update: Oh... it's not ID3 tags that you're missing, it's the content info from WMAs! Yeah, I feel for ya', walking the content chain in a WMA isn't fun. Do you have plans for adding this or ???

I seen a post about resizing the program, this would be good idea or at least have the movies and visuals fill the screen. (1029x740) etc...

When you view pictures, it does not resize them to fit in the screen. (only a quarter of the picture shows, depending on size.

How does one play DVD files (movies already loaded on the hd in dvd format). I can browse the video folder but it won't play.

for some reason on my carpc it does not play the last song on startup nor keep the eq settings. my home pc works fine. I'm i missing a ms plugin or software. It's like it resets itself when I start the program each time. last song doesn't start, it reverts back to all music instead of artist, eq doesn't save.

it would be nice to configure an external program to a specific button ( i think you may be working on that), for example I use nRoute for gps.

I am also getting the 'mobilemedia.exe has encountered a probem and needs to close.' is there a fix for this?

What language and framework will the SDK use?

I know there are some people here having some problems with starting mmc.
Does anyone know how to fix it? .net framework 2.0 is installed.. Have tried on 2 computers, (with same version of win xp)
