I am in the proccess of having the database built. This is going to take awhile.....

It pops up ontop of the splash
Did you uninstall the old version of MMC and .NET 2.0 and then reboot? Once you do this, you should install the new version.Originally Posted by EBFoxbat
If you have to, there is a dotnetfx folder with the install. You can install the dotnet framework 2.0 manually from this folder.
Let us know...
If all of you keep having problems, then install the .NET Framework 2.0 package from Microsoft's website...
We will be on the road for the next 1.5 hours. Once I get to Tampa I will check for posts that I can help out with...
missed MMC A2 uninstall. Uninstalled A2 and A3, restarted, installed A3. Froze on building database... FIX: deleted 0KB-sized file in my media folder. ..
Keyboard is nice... a bit too transparent, hard to use sometimes.
I put in a DVD while music was playing and got this:
man that interface will rock once finished!
Wish I could click and hold the scroll arrows instead of cliking 300 times or if there was a scroll bar to grab.
AMD XP 2500 1GB RAM... built database of 631 MP3s in about 30 seconds. Pretty good if you ask me.
I can't wait to use this in my rig.
I still can't get a DVD to play right.
If i put in a DVd then click on Video nothing happens, I press play and get this:
at what point will directory browsing be implemented? I'll check it out then Seriously, it looks and feels good, but at this point the GUI is not suited towards large amounts of music, at least not without far too much effort (compared to other apps).
It took only 9-12 minutes this time to create my database. That is a whole lot faster then from before!
Things to note:
I love the search options with the keyboard. It is almost perfect.
I have yet to see any bugs.
Still way too 2D like with the buttons. Maybe that will change with the skinnable release... I would just like to see the button push in when you click on it.
Still would like the mouse cursor to go away when you have the full screen visual open.
I would like it to auto scroll when you have the mouse button pressed in on the scroll bar so you don't have to keep clicking it. The searching does partly help this but it would still be nice.
And last of all THIS IS SOOOOO FAST AND SMOOTH.
