I noticed on the main page a request to have Frodoplayer skins change for day/night time. Would it be possible to add in a sunrise/sunset table to change the skins? My take would be to download a table and save it into your working folder. Then have MMC read the file for your local area and change skins accordingly. Here is a page that creates a one year table for you.

Since you're actually doing the coding, you might be able to find an equation to calculate this and all the user has to do is enter in their lat. and long. and there you have it. This way you would not have to depend on this other calculated table. I did a little search and came up with this page. It has links to Java packages which calculate sunrise and sunset times.

I know that this is a bit of work for something so menial, but I thought I would give it a go. By the way, everything is looking nice.

I think the only thing that keeps me from using this as my full time player is the GPS support. I know it is going to be awhile before you have the integrated GPS support but how about this: Make it so you can launch external applications, when launched MMC goes into mini mode and is set to always be on top. That way I can launch my GPS software and also have the player right there. Maybe for each launched application in the settings add support for being able to put the mini MMC in whichever corner of the screen you would prefer.
Or if you can think of a better way of allowing 3rd party GPS software support.

This is actually something that will happen rather soon, we were kicking around a few ideas yesterday to quickly integrate third party GPS into the app to hold us over until ours is finsished.

the program will rebuild the database....dont worry it will be easier to do so on the later builds...

How about TV? Will you implement native tuner support?
