Here is a idea I did quick in photoshop for the calendar and planner....

Here is the calendar view, I just need to make it bigger, or days smaller to be able to fit all 31 days....

And when you press on a specific day, it acts as a button and opens up a editable window to view/edit that days events/tasks/appointments....

It shows what it could look like with either icons for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, meetings, or anything else..... or what it could look like with just a text preview of that days events/tasks/appointments.

dont most people have a phone or pda now days with a calander and everything in it? dosent that seam a better solution as you dont have to return to your car to use it?

Well yea, I have a calendar on my phone, but with the size of the buttons, and easability of it, I NEVER use it.

But if I would, how about synchronizing it, using PhoneControls methods, with the calendar in MMC, along with the phonebook, and address book. So for people like myself that carrys around a personal organizer, or planner around on a daily basis inside the car, writing down all the events for the day or meetings or appointments, something like this would be VERY useful.

Even synch it with Outlooks calendar and to-do lists, tasks, address books, etc. at your house. Drive up, and it automatically, as long as your home computer is on, updates both computers.

Looking at bigger picture.... smart homes. Have the car, and home insync at same time, having all your important information at your fingertips, no matter where you are.

Very nice looking stuff tCoy. I'd love to see this incorporated into MMC. PDA-syncing would be killer too. I've got a Palm Pilot but don't use it that often because I hate or forget to sync it. Also when the battery dies, I loose all my information and get ****ed off because I have sync'd it. That and when I do sync it, all the information would be right there.

Thought: You know what be really killer. Linking the Address Book and the GPS. Click someone's name and then click "Take Me There" and it switches to the GPS with their address already plugged in. Hmmm....

had a go wih this software and i must say im impressed!

A few suggestions,
firstly any chance of seeing the video section having its own front on the main screen next to "Music"?

secondary will winamp visulisations be supported in the future?

thirdly the scroll bars a bit fiddly to use even with a mouse! lol doubt il use it properly while driving :S
