What was the exact error message? Could you post a screenshot? There will be an option to browse the hard drive or build a database. Right now it always builds the database as you already know.

    Smile Winamp NSV movie playback??

I've just started using MMC and I think it's going to be a great bit of software! I don't know about anyone else, but I'd love it to be able to playback Winamp NSV movie files. That would be perfect!

Talking New release still coming and coming and coming...

We have been hard at work on the new release. With all the new features we have had to rethink our layout for each of the screens. We wanted to do something that stayed consistant for most of the screens. This release is going to blow most of you away... I hope

I have a couple screen shots of how it is coming along. It will most likely be another week. A lot is going into this final Alpha 5 release. I am sure most of you will be very pleased. I am doing everything I can on the request list.

Will keep you posted through out the week.

    Thanks everyone

Question MMC Navigation (Not GPS) Advice

The team has been going back and forth with the discussion of navigation for the screens. I have the argument that things should be grouped with functionality. So that the Media Player, Radio, Camera, etc would be all menu items off the main screen (Menu Screen). A couple of the team members are saying they want to access everything from the Media Player screen. I think the media player should just handle "media" the radio should be seperated into different screen as well as the other functional components.

My argument is that we would be trying to put way to much functionality and some that is unrelated in one screen. I just feel that this is bad design. I wanted to get your advice.

    Please respond with your thoughts...

    Thank you

Looks awesome, great job guys. I can't wait to play with it, well I can but I have to spend a lot of time sitting on my hands. What's the scroll at the bottom going to do?

I posted earlier saying something to the effect of HybridEngineer's idea, so I agree with HybridEngineer. Again, thanks for all of your hard work.

I would like to have access "list mode" for title, artist, album, genre, video,xm and fm from the player page with out haveing to go back to the main menu, camera, gps, apps could be on the main menu. if theres too many to scroll then have a list mode forward and back button insted of just next mode button. I guess list mode would be a player mode. Any one like this?
