Yes, that kinda makes sense. However I would still like to see a divide between music and video. Putting XM and FM inside the media player so one can check sports scores or check NPRs top of the hour news and then easily go back to listening to one's own music seems like a nice feature though. Other, non-media related things definately access off the main menu. Again, just my opinion, I will use and love your product no matter what, keep up the good work.

I think we got it, list mode for artist, title, album, genre and then player mode for audio, dvd, radio. all screen will have the same feel but you wont have to press the list mode button 7 times to get to radio just press player mode 1 or 2 times max, radio will have band button for xm/fm and will swap song slide with presets.

I installed the new .NET Framework and MMC, but It crashes while building the database everytime, do I need to specify a folder or just a drive, all my media is on a drive, inside 2 folders.

I like them grouped with functionality. Video/DVD/etc... in a differant screen than Audio stuff. The main thing I would have a big problem with is having it so you have to scroll through each item to try and free up screen space. (I love FrodoPlayer but that is just so annoying to me, to have to click through each item). So I agree with HybridE.

I'm for the grouped functionality. However, I have this feeling that I will primarily be switching between MP3 and Nav. I want to be able to access the Nav from anywhere. If needbe, I will make my own skin to give me this functionality if necessary. SDK....

Right now it is best to use a folder. Have all your folders in a root folder called Media for example and then point to that folder.

We are working on the Media folder issues.

Downloaded the SDK and I will look into this...
