I rather like the graphics but I guess the red color is something I wouldn't mind seeing changed.

let me explain the red highlights..... whenever xm changes or updates a song on a channel, that channel highlights...red for now....but fades back to black after a few seconds....we might change the update color to blue to follow the theme

Hey. What about my post about multi-monitor support and EBFoxbat's GPS question?
sorry....with the hurricane last week its been a little hectic and internet has been intermittent for me.....

We have learned alot already from everyones comments....version one will be great....But, we plan to rewrite the core for version 2 and will be 100 times better than version one.... one of the things we talked about...tonite actually, is how we are going to support multiple monitors... the design phase of version 2 is already being worked on, and this will be a feature included withen it...do not worry it is not taking time away from version 1 development.

GPS....this is how it stands now...we have been in negotiations with navteq who supplies most of the map data for OEM auto manufacturers...this of course will be awhile from now, so in the meantime we will incorporate a third party software.....and as for alpha 5/beta 1 minimode will have to be the way you launch other apps.

your gonna laugh at this one....click on it and slide it back in view...its moveable
What I meant was I didn't want to slide it back in view when I'm driving in case I run over a few people! It's not a major concern, but maybe when the ability to change the font is available I can make it bigger and easier to see at a glance.

Keep up the good work anyway! Can't wait for Alpha 5

So, let us recap on what the new release has installed.

Mini mode so we can access other apps.
Video works with a preview pain that expands to full screen.
    XM support.

Imagex said he was running a copy minus fm support. Does this mean that fm works, but he just isn't testing it? :-)

Any other updates or screen captures?

I don't know if these have been requested or not but I am too tired to read through the rest of this thread.
-When a video finishes have it skip to the next one just like the songs. I have a bunch of music videos so it sucks to have to click to the next one each time I want to have it play a video.
-When playing music with shuffle on and you click next, have it skip to the next random song rather then just go to the next song on the list. Reason for that is whenever I play it on random in genre mode and I get to a bunch of songs that are all from the same CD (that I don't like) I have to skip through them all.
These changes should be really easy to make. Thanks

In response to Image's question about the layout. I think the graphics are great however previous versions layout was prettier. I think the main reason for this is the group of 6 in the corner looks a bit cramped. I wouldn't worry about this too much for the next release but maybe you could have one button on the bottom of the sceen that would pop up a window that would have all these buttoms on it. I think Media Engine does this. I think the idea could be implemented better then they do it but the general principle seems good. This way you could have access to all the screens including GPS and radio and everything from the media page without that page looking over-crowded. Again, just a idea. Thanks for all the hard work and lets see Alpha 5 release!!!
