I would really like to be able to see what the next song is when in shuffle mode. I think the list should be shuffled first, then played sequentially, and skip to the next song (which, generally speaking) would not be on the same album.

In response to Image's question about the layout. I think the graphics are great however previous versions layout was prettier. I think the main reason for this is the group of 6 in the corner looks a bit cramped. I wouldn't worry about this too much for the next release but maybe you could have one button on the bottom of the sceen that would pop up a window that would have all these buttoms on it. I think Media Engine does this. I think the idea could be implemented better then they do it but the general principle seems good. This way you could have access to all the screens including GPS and radio and everything from the media page without that page looking over-crowded. Again, just a idea. Thanks for all the hard work and lets see Alpha 5 release!!!

its really hard to picture with screenshots at 50% size but we use xenarc screens and its not cramped at all, in fact it works quite well....but hey, we had to lock down the layout ....it was the only thing that was so up in the air....it is very smooth...once you all try it out you will love it....

So, let us recap on what the new release has installed.

Mini mode so we can access other apps.
Video works with a preview pain that expands to full screen.
XM support.

Imagex said he was running a copy minus fm support. Does this mean that fm works, but he just isn't testing it? :-)

FM is the last component that we are putting together. it will support all the popular fm radios as well as the radio that hybrid supports... avermedia brand.

video has three states .... the preview panel, midsize that has the shuttle control, and full screen.

mini mode will only be key buttons...ie...volume/up/down...next/pause/prev

xm pcr radio.....presets, recording, list sorting

and yes I will post some more screenshots as I feel they are ready....

You guys gunna support the radio that Seth is making. I believe he will be sending you a Prototype soon for integration

on this version and the next few releases you will have mini mode and be able to launch a third party GPS software....next step of course is us integrating a program such as routis or the likes... that will be for version 2.0.....after which we will most likely build our own GPS from the ground up... ( a huge undertaking but will be well worth it in the long run...for everyone)
