On a slightly less kooky note - a guy I work with has named his three kids with their middle name being the day of the week they were born.

Butch
Vincent
Jules
Roger
Marsellus
Lance
Bill
Eddie
or any of the other Quentin Tarantino movie character names:-)

Hmmm - seems that I lost the original kooky post. Here it is again.
You will name your son VIP. He will appreciate the fact that you were sufficiently forward thinking to provide him with a name that ensures that waitstaff, scullery maids, maitre d's, fawning hangers-on, and the generally obsequious are left in no doubt as to his importance, and they accord him the respect and deference he demands.
When he is older, he will learn to patiently correct people:
"No, no, no - it's not Vip. It's VIP."
Only an asshat would insist on the dots as well.

well, if your going for unique, how about Ashley. I know it's a girls name, but it used to be a guys name in the old'en days(at least thats what they tell me). He will probobly get picked on alot by the guys, but the chicks will dig it when he gets into high school. every old person he meets will proclame "Dont you listen to them, they have never seen Gone With the Wind". It made me somewhat tough and witty. You know how the song goes ".....a boy named sue" sigh............bring on the flames.
