Just so you guys know what is in the works, here is a quick status update.
The release tonight will include web cam support (reverse cam), bug fixes, and saved settings between loads.
I have a lot of skins in the works. More user friendly and difference choices. I am also working on the SDK that will allow developers to extend and modify MMC. Also have been testing various pieces on Mac OS X on the Intel Mac Mini that I have here in my lab. The test are going well and I am working hard toward a public release of the Mac OS X version.
I also have been working on Gapless playback, Bluetooth device support (Phones) and I am killing my self on GPS research. I am trying to come up with the perfect solution for integrated GPS and finding that it may not exists? Everyone wants something different. I noticed that StreetDeck uses Mappoint. The issue I have with that is your tied to windows. I am developing a cross platform system that will also run on Mac OS X and Linux flavors the same. I am focusing on the Windows release first, but will be following up with other releases. I will be home around 6:00 PM EST and will have the release out by 10:00 PM EST this evening.
Thanks again everyone for the feedback and suggestions.
P.S. I wanted to mention that MMC is very flexible and powerful. I am working on MMC Studio which will allow people to create skins and write scripting code. MMC has been used in 3 MTV Pimp My Ride cars, was on display at SEMA this past week in a Lincoln Navigator in the GAS booth. It is now going in Mad Mikes personal Escalade in the next few weeks. I just need to polish some things up and document everything for you guys so you can start skinning it and extending it. It already has relay support for the kits at electronickits.com. The relays can be configured for latching, momentary, timed, etc... all in the configuration file. I will be creating a touch screen friendly config panel to set everything up. A lot of great stuff coming and in the works. Just be patient with me as I do this in my spare time :)
