@Brntmatch - I think you are right, they aren't targeting this product at people like you and I. It is more for a lab or an installer that needs this kind of hardware and isn't concerned about the cost. I know that in our labs when we need something that costs $3,000 you can buy that on the departmental credit card. It doesn't even make it to the capital budget level.

I think it is pretty clear what this product is - an experimental set of hardware that isn't currently targeted at consumers because it requires some technical expertise to deal with.
