miRoamer IS NOT the first. They use the streams from the Digitally Imported - Electronic & Dance Music Radio 24/7 website (www.di.fm) and Sky.fm website (which is the same company from Long Island NY).miRoamer is just a bookmark website. When the first mobile phones were able to stream music I was able to listen to online radios, around 2004.Presently I use my Palm Treo with a cassette adapter and my Benz sounds better than before.Another website which supplies a player (software of course) for your portable is Munduradio (www.mundu.com) .I use it alot because I can bookmark my streams and not use the web browser to select them.Comes very handy.Any radio station which broadcast on the internet is at your finger tips.So we have to make here a distinction between content providers (DI.fm , Sky.fm , Shoutcast , etc) and "repackagers" (miRoamer, mundu, etc). The first internet radio car surfaced sometime in 2004 and was probably "brewed" in this forum. The evolutionary law say 'Form follow function' ... and mp3car.com was(and still is) a very "fertile ground" for well ahead of their time 'functions' and ideas. Happy New Year MP3car !
