I dont think anything in the car is powerful enough to combust anything on there now or would have been on there. Is there anything rattling around somewhere? I will see if I can take mine out tonight and figure out what it is.

there were two TINY pieces of what i'm assuming was solder rattling. They were small enought to fit where the solder holes are. Nothing else though. I wonder if the two solder points were soldered together :dunno:

They look too far apart for something like that. It is sort of interesting to have that constellation of vias arround it too. Wonder if that is design or function?

j'ai apsser 4 usb de ma motherbaord jusqu'a l'extérieur de mon case.
la motherboard a 4 port usb interne non utiliser donc la je suis rendu a 8

Yeah but those 8 are still powered from your mobo/psu not from the car. Also those with USB gremlins need something external to power up and shutoff independent from the mobo which is the whole point of the product.

And the french wasnt great, but I understood it. Internet translator?

non c'est plutot que je me suis pas forcé, et que j'ai bâclé ce que j'ai écris, au Québec on est influencé par l'anglais alors ca a donné ça .

Ok, i understand now....so some device need to be started before the computer?

For some people yes. I think it is mostly a hibernation issue. I dont have that problem as I always do cold boot or suspend though.

Not unless I take more than 2hours in the shop. And if I did say use a hotel for the night in a cross country journey, then I just press Destination-->Recent and the top item. But from standby it resumes where it left off.

I have my M2 set to soft off 30s after into standby, then in 2hours pull the plug into cold boot. I have a deep cycle Optima battery so the constant strain on it is ok.
