I meant pictures of your unit in action.
Where did you buy yours, as well? This maufacturer's site doesn't sell direct, it seems.
The Inelmatic XF700HB-USVA2 7" Transflective Industrial Touchscreen Monitor is available to buy from Here They can also order a frame-less version of the screen if requested. I bought my Xenarc 7" from this seller almost 4 years ago but now it's time to upgrade.
I was ready to buy the unit, until I read this thread. Currently my Xenarc is mounted on a custom double din bezel in my BMW E46, and I really need something to make it visible under intense brightness.
The other option with less nits that I found online is from Liliput, listed Here
*Edit: The hardware reviewed in this thread, is it the same as the Inelmatic I posted above? Because it seems that the model I'm listing has some additional part numbers in the end; XF700HB-USVA2
The link you have provided is not an official product from Lilliput. It is an Ebay seller who stole our (Mobile Computing Solutions) product description. Their monitor does not have an enhanced touch panel and it is not optically bonded.
That is very good to know, thanks for the info!

I wish I could afford to try out the XF700. My Transflective and Optically Bonded upgraded lilliput still washes out in the sun.
I think it still comes down to the following:
-Transflective glare finish screen readable under brighter sun, will reflect objects in front of it
-Transflective matte finish, anti-glare doesn't appear glossy, doesn't reflect objects but still has some wash-out.
I agree with that. I bought an AG screen cover for my iPad, it kind of washes out a bit. Without it, it reflects objects, but it feels deeper, and the sun reflected directly stll let's you see what's on the screen elsewhere...hard to explain, but I think something similar happens here.
