I loved the review. I am in the process of purchasing the components to build this. But I a question that make or break this build. Has anyone had any problems with the touch function of the screen in this enclosure?

i think i can answer this one a little-- i had a few problems mounting my 629 to a bybyte frame-- at first, the mouse would shoot to the bottom left corner on every power up-- i had to power everything up, and adjust the 4 screws holding the display in so that they were all pressing on the display evenly--now, the ts has just worked with no issues since the install.

Thanks for the tip soundman! That H bracket frame looks like it could be a problem for some non-Lilli screens. However that doesn't seem to prevent others from using it. One issue I'm hoping someone might comment on is the EMI-RF interference question. I'm considering 3M Aluminum tape for the interior of the case to mitigate this. Bybyte says that it shouldn't be a problem.

    capacitive touch screen

Do you think there would be any issues(other than the IR relocation) with using the new 3m capacitive touch screen with this case(and lilly 701)?

As long as the touch overlay is 7" it should work just fine.

Keep in mind, the latest Via NanoITX boards don't have that 2mm pitch CRT header on them, so you have to route the cable out of the case and plug in to the VGA port. To use this box most effectively, you should stick to the Via NX15000G Nano ITX Motherboard. THis board has all the proper layouts for the ByByte monitor cable, audio cable and risers to drop it right in and be done. The only downfall of this to the newest NanoITX is it has the older chipset on it.
