The iPad's role in your car?

Like with most Apple products, people have to have it no matter what. I bet if it came without the screen and Apple released it, people would still buy it. You saw what happened when the original iPhone was released.... Didnt it have issues and not work at first, somthing with the activation? That still didnt stop people from waiting in line.

Kinda neat. All of the electronics in it look to be the size of an iPhone. Well, with a bigger, very thin LCD and huge battery.

It looks like an Iphone with a big battery! LOL People complained about iTouch's short battery lifetime, there's your answer...

And yes, I'm waiting for the 3G version. Better/proper GPS and the 3G of course (I'll probably tether with my J/b iphone anyway, but out of the car, the iPhone batteries would go off quickly that way. So tethering in the car, 3G off the car, that's the plan. I'm not sold on it yet.

UGH, I hate admitting it, but it flows pretty seamlessly. I guess once you get to multitasking is where its going to fall on it face. It looks good though. Audio didnt sound all that great though. Also noticed the reflection is pretty bad. In sunlight its going to turn into a gaint laser and burn the passengers to death.

LOL, I bet it is. My rear view screen has the same feature (since I guess by law it has to be able to work as a standard mirror if it has to), I can say its the most annoying thing. I have to angle it in such a way to over come the reflection.
