Then give us a lot of those test boards so that we can connect them together and get an amp in that way

Wow that's really nice of you, one person in the thread displays a slight hint of impatience, and suddenly we are all laughable. Sounds fair to me.

"slight hint"? He said the project was dead when its not even started yet. Mp3car said they were looking into it literally 2 weeks ago. These things tend to take time.

I dont this we'll see optical for AMP ever?
I could be way off on this but wouldn't the heat from the car and AMP kill an optical type?
I'm not familiar enough w/the technology but can those even handle the bends and curves one might need to run from front to back?

Would be cool though to see optical to AMP

CARPuter and Optical AMP is really a Must :S

ION Pc's are awsome Great little web browser and media play back Devices that barely use any power 4 watt ATOM CPU with 40 watt peak Load .. its cut my electric bill down heaps from my 1800 watt Gaming Rig being used for www'ing

I really want to throw my old one in the car ( when the Next Gen Come out :P )

and from memory mine only has SPDIF / Optical in the back .. apart from HDMI ...
