HMMMMMMM, so I would have to go to Dodge, INTEL, ZOTAC and or other company. I doubt though any of them had a booth :-(.

Heh. Well, it has been done before at Sema...
Just that it was so poorly done it hurts...

ROFLOL. What could be worse than a fake escalade (itself a "fake", factory pimped Suburban)?
I like this one on the picture below better, at least it's a coherent sane style. It would be cool if I had a ranch but I think of my car as a big cruiser to go to the mountains and skiing with people and gear, so I'd rather see it with ROAD (snow) tires, lowered, though not big wheelz, donk style. Maybe it can't be done tastefully, it's not a beautiful car to start with...

The thing to remember is that you're there to promote someone else's product, not your grand artistic vision. THe F-350 was actually in the Ford display, and a Ford rep was there to talk about it....the focus being the truck, not the custom work.
That said, there are a lot of "Featured Cars" scattered all over the show. Many of them don't appear to be associated with any particular vendor. So there may be an alternative route to get your vehicle in the door. The downside is that they are mostly at the very back of the halls and they are not "displayed" per se, but just parked for viewing. This is not primarily a car show, so I don't think they want anything distracting too much from the products and vendors.
Kind of a clever double entendre in the name of that Ford F-350. When I saw it was called the "Pit Boss", I immediately thought of NASCAR or NHRA, but here in Vegas, that has a whole different meaning. Nice.

The Pit Boss is a Race Support truck and it was sad to not see the tonneau cover up to show off the tire cage and more important to us the second touchscreen monitor in a swing out tool box on the drivers side tailgate area. There is NOT a second PC for the rear touchscreen but the same ENV system with a Dual-Zone setup with our PUSH ability fully working as the team saw during the build.
HiJack, yes we have PUSH fully working but with the tonneau not open it can't be shown. Kris did say the lift will be functional by the LA Auto Show where it was requested to be by Ford (in 10 days or so). The below pics show the second monitor in the bed, last pic shows Hulu.com playing over the wifi in the shop on the 15" (touch) bed monitor. This monitor is built into a Swing out tool box plus we added another OBDII plugin to the rear menu so it can be launched from the bed monitor by the support team with a Bluetooth OBDII placed in the supported Race car...
Spyder, scrambling is being nice, I last saw the truck on Friday, it shipped Sunday, show started Tuesday and the rear fenders weren't on it yet. It was a fun build and we will work with Kris or more-so Jade to support whatever they need. We too agree this system has a very long boot. It does fully work with SYNC (not needed but a must per Ford). This system was built with Centrafuse 3.2 but with some ENV features not fully supported yet we pulled back to CF3.1 and added some other features not shown. Let me say, so far I'm not a fan of ELO touch drivers.

Im not a fan of ELO period. Those screens are heavy, almost as heavy as a car battery, they require special drivers, and they dont last long. Ive had to replace six of them when I use to IT a restaurant.

CarPC coming soon. Hopefully end of 2010.
Parts left to buy-
Monitor, Bybyte frame, Axxess hook up, Sheet metal for double din case.
Cupcakes, I didn't see any cupcakes, damn, but I can say Jade looked more then tired that last week, hope she catches up on this week...
Jay is a great guy (yes taller then myself at 6'4"), he did a HUGE amount of work trying to get the tonneau to function correctly (along with most every other part as well), hope it can work as designed for their next showing.
True, about Fords placement of the truck, the tailgate faced a small wall, with the tailgate open it would have been less then a foot from the wall so being the swing out toolbox maybe gets to a 30deg angle facing the side of the truck it would darn near impossible to see unless you stood with your back on the wall.. oh, well, while in Fords booth they write the rules...
