The aux in on your radio needs a serial connection? I never heard of that one, not saying its not true just odd. These damn automakers keep making it harder and harder to replace the radio. My BMW 335i needs 10 feet of Fiber optic to relocate the radio to the trunk so I dont get a error every time I start the car.
Maybe the headunit needs to "see" a serial connection as it might use this for ipod controls.Quote:

The biggest issue with the fiber is if it's not there the car can't be reprogrammed at the dealer so I would not only get the error but can't go to the dealer unless I put the radio back in every time, a real PITA.
Is there a very noticeable difference is the use of the HDMI to the A/V cable? I plan to use my iTouch 2nd gen when I don't have my phone, or simply for a bigger library, and am prepared to just switch between cables. But, if the HDMI isn't that much better I would rather just use the A/V and not have to worry about plugging in audio or messing with a dock.
A/V is actually not that bad on an iphone4. Its better than A/V on the 3GS though.Quote:

Is there any news on a android version? I am still waiting on the Galaxy S II anyway but hoping for a release this month.
I did purchase a few android phones, about 30 days ago.. Though they haven't arrived!! Looks like I have to purchase them again. I do have something working for android, but I need to test a variety of androids to ensure its compatible with most handsets.
