I'm just curious what are peoples options that have headunits with the amp built-in, if they change out their headunit with say the lillput mimics double din option how will they get audio into there car wiring harness and what will drive that sound?

Ofcourse you can buy high end seperate amps etc but i'm jus curious what budget options there are.

I use the kenwood Kac 64404 amp. It was only $100 and provides my mimics system with some great sound.

oh and just using the crutchfield wiring harness for you vehicle is good enough to wire an amp

Just another question,

When i'm out putting video from my iphone to my lilliput 619gl or 869gl i'm left with two black bars at either side of the screen.
I'm using the displayout programs from cydia.

How do you get the video to full screen like on the demostration videos?

If you have a look in the DisplayOut options, [Settings>DisplayOut] you can adjust the screen using the sliders in "scale", "aspect adjust","horizontal offset" and "vertical offset".
I have had a few people ask this exact question. I shall update the user manual to include this.

Yes i'm able to change the scale, but when i fit to either side of the screen, it's cutting out the top and bottom of my iphone screen.
Its the right height i just need to change the width.

If you use the Apple HDMI cable as included in the cable option, then it goes full screen. Thats what we used in the demo videos for my car, and what i currently use now. I'm on iOS 4.3 on an iPhone 4

My apologies i ment to say i'm using the a/v composite cable, that might be why its showing up like this.

So if i use a HDMI cable it will solve this problem?

If you use HDMI there is not need to tweak DisplayOut, if using A/V composite or VGA you will need to tweak it to fit the screen. Just make sure to re-calibrate after adjusting screen so your touches are accurate again.
